Connecticut Studio showing some works from the 70's . Work was made in either NYC,Buffalo or Portugal. Painting studio in Lagos, Portugal,1972/73,
All paintings are acrylic on canvas or linen, cutout and pinned directly on the wall. I started making this work in 1968 and first showed the cutouts at the Albright -Knox, Buffalo(1968), Judith DaCruz, Lisbon(1973) ,Allan Frumkin(1968) and Allan Stone in NYC and Henri Gallery, Washington DC. Paintings from 1968 to 1972 were destroyed in a studio fire in Buffalo. The new paintings made in Portugal in 72/73 disappeared during the Portuguese revolution, were discovered in 2015 and were returned to me. In  2016 the were returned for exhibition in Portugal....but this is a long story.
